Paradise Found

Show Description

This show celebrates the possibility of imagination and the triumph of diversity over conflict. As many shows do, Paradise Found moves from darkness to light, utilizing thematic material from all three musical selections. The opening production introduces Fly to Paradise by Eric Whitacre, and features an optional vocal soloist. Coldplay’s Paradise is the main selection for the second production, which is darker and more sinister. The ballad is pulled from Because by The Beatles, and is an excellent opportunity to showcase a rich full band sound. The final production takes all of these themes and mashes them up, leading to a satisfying conclusion. This show works well on its own, but truly shines when used in conjunction with narration to tie to deeper themes - love, equality, religion, etc.
